Saki restaurant serving up authentic Japanese cuisine for 28 years

Saki Restaurant at North Balwyn Village has been serving the freshest of Japanese cuisine for 28 years from its beautiful restaurant at the back shop of The Village arcade at 70 Doncaster Road.

The restaurant is known for its superlative Japanese dishes including fresh sashimi, deep fried tempura and grilled eye fillet. Among its offerings of authentic dishes are: miso soup, osuimono, gyusashi, gyoza, harumaki, potato croquette, agedashi tofu, nasu dengaku, hotate butter, hotate age, Tatsuta age, yakitori, teriyaki beef, gyunikumaki, kaisen teppanyaki, wafu steak, tonkatsu, salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, bento, and sukiyaki. The sushi bar is fresh and wholesome.

This festive season is also a great time to whip out those gourmet platters and Saki’s deluxe platter is made to order with delicious sushi and sashimi selections.

Saki’s green tea ice cream, known as matcha is very popular.

Saki is fully licensed for wine and beer. Diners can also bring their own wine.

Saki offers takeaway and is open Tuesday to Sunday 6pm til late. All takeaway food orders of $50 or more receive a 10% discount.
