Signorelli’s brings festive flair to this season’s freshest produce

In the heart of North Balwyn, local greengrocer Signorelli’s Fruit and Vegetables is gearing up for a festive season like never before.
The spotlight is on the vibrant and fresh produce sourced directly from Victorian farms promising a culinary experience that’s not just delicious but also a celebration of local agriculture.

Dean Signorelli shared some tips for selecting the best of the season produce.

“The stonefruit is very good as are the cut fruits and berries including paw paw, watermelon and pineapples.
“In the staple foods range, potatoes, carrots, broccoli and beans are going to be crowd pleasers on this year’s Christmas table,” Dean Signorelli says.
Supply to date has been very good, but this is all subject to the weather. If it continues well, prices should stay reasonable and the quality will remain good.

Signorelli’s always try and source their produce from Victorian farms and in particular many of the small crop farmers in the Werribee market garden area, particularly the cabbages and cauliflowers.

The North Balwyn Village Traders Association thanks Signorelli’s Fruit and Vegetables for donating one of the $200 gift card vouchers to be won in the North Balwyn Village Traders Association Christmas promotion.
